Post Bring it! the donation thread
Not exactly donating, but what you can bring along to EVAC. A general planning thread. I'll most likely be bringing along my PS3 most weeks, starting with Street Fighter 4 most likely for the first couple.

Things to remember;
* We have one projector, does not belong to the club, may not always be there. Usually it's reserved for the big game of the period. Last year we had Smash & Rock Band on it.
* We usually have 2 to 3 TVs in the rooms, these are not HD. Make sure you bring the right cabling.
* Currently the club owns a Gamecube, Wii and PS2 on hand. (Correct me if wrong). If you own games for these you wish to bring along, do as you wish. If you want to get people interested, it's usually a good idea to post about it in the upcoming friday thread.

Things I can bring;
PS3 + Games (Link to collection)
Dreamcast + Games (97 total)
PS2 + Games
DS & PSP

Don't think we have a projector at the moment, actually. :(

I can't really bring much in the way of consoles. But anything I can stuff in to my bag I can bring. So, whatever game of the moment I have that nobody else does.

Why don't we have access to the projector?

An infestation of feline Butt Hobbits.

But really, one got somethinged, and the other is now essentially reserved for 'important' folk or something.

One or two projectors got stolen, not sure if they've been replaced yet. Regardless, the union is kinda wary about lending out expensive gear when clubs have been irresponsible with it in the past. (Not us, though, we're usually very e-sponsible)

The CA/AUU/Whoever are quite aware that we're good about looking after the projector, so I think last we heard, they'd be willing to support us if we apply for a grant. The deal would likely be along the lines of the CA actually taking ownership of the projector, but allowing us priority use.

Of course this sort of thing will only happen with non-lazy. I'll try to chase it up if I have free time this week or something.

For 3 weeks, starting next week, I'm going to be unable to bring my PS3. I'll be able to bring Games+Pads, just not the PS3. Getting extra hours at work over those weeks, but will be at EVAC at around 6pm or so on the fridays for it.
