When I think of Bowie, I think of Jareth. Needs more Jareth.

I'd just like to point out that Mr Bowie doesn't actually have different coloured eyes. It is just that one is permenantly dilated due to an accident at a concert.

Actually, it was a fight over a girl when he was 15. The friend he was fighting with was wearing a ring on his finger on his punchin' hand.

Actually it was an accident on the set of Labyrinth, he tripped on some stars and went straight into the corner of a prop-piece.

Actually, I heard that during Ziggy Stardust he went in to space and was sucked in to an alternate dimension where he had to fight a mirror image of himself that had permenantly dilated eyes. The alternate Bowie tore Bowie Prime's eye out. So Prime killed alternate bowie with a battleaxe and took his eye as a trophy.

Actually, the incident only took place recently, but it was so devastating that it rippled backwards through time and caused all public records and memories of the man to appear like he's always had the condition.

Actually, it happened in the largest Lego accident on record. A giant Legoland dinosaur fell on him at a park as a child, with a 2x1 brick becoming wedged in his eye.

This whole thing is incredibly circular.

Here's the complete Lego Rock Band playlist:
Quote:
* All American Rejects – “Swing – Swing”
* The Automatic – “Monster”
* Blink-182 – “Aliens Exist”
* Blur – “Song 2”
* Bon Jovi – “You Give Love a Bad Name”
* Boys like Girls – “Thunder”
* Bryan Adams – “Summer of 69”
* Carl Douglas – “Kung Fu Fighting”
* The Coral – “Dreaming of You”
* Counting Crows – “Accidentally in Love”
* David Bowie – “Let’s Dance”
* Elton John – “Crocodile Rock”
* Europe – “The Final Countdown”
* Everlife – “Real Wild Child”
* Foo Fighters – “Breakout”
* Good Charlotte – “Girls & Boys”
* The Hives – “Tick Tick Boom!”
* Iggy Pop – “The Passenger”
* Incubus – “Dig”
* Jackson 5 – “I Want You Back”
* Jimi Hendrix – “Fire”
* Kaiser Chiefs – “Ruby”
* Katrina & The Waves – “Walking on Sunshine”
* The Kooks – “Naïve”
* KoRn – “Word Up!”
* KT Tunstall – “Suddenly I See”
* Lostprophets – “Rooftops”
* P!NK – “So What”
* The Police – “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”
* The Primitives – “Crash”
* Queen – “We Are The Champions”
* Queen – “We Will Rock You”
* Rascal Flatts – “Life is a Highway”
* Ray Parker Jr. – “Ghostbusters”
* Razorlight – “Stumble and Fall”
* Spin Doctors – “Two Princes”
* Spinal Tap – “Short & Sweet”
* Steve Harly – “Make Me Smile”
* Sum 41 – “In Too Deep”
* Supergrass – “Grace”
* Tom Petty – “Free Fallin”
* T-Rex – “Ride a White Swan”
* Vampire Weekend – “A-Punk”
* We the Kings – “Check Yes Juliet”
* The Zutons – “Valerie”

For all that's awesome in there (and there's quite a bit), there's some crap too. Nowhere near as bad as Band Hero, of course.

I guess the club will have discuss this sometime! At least ALL the songs are exportable to rock band 2 (for $10), unlike a certain other franchise that can't even get THAT right.

Oh hell yes. I think this is the first time a Jimi Hendrix song that's both good and appropriate for a game has been done properly.

Destructoid Preview, I'm actually damned interested in this game now. I enjoyed the lego star wars games for their humour, and the more I think about it, there's only a few songs in here I actually object to.

Without a doubt the best out-of-the-box set-list from a single game.

I'm trying to determine if you're being sarcastic. I mean, aside from beatles, all the rythmn games have had stinkers, but... hrm.

You confuse me sometimes Simon!

edit: And at then risk of me being a broken record (hah! Connell ranting about the same stuff over and over? Never!), Band Hero's tracklist thus far is woeful - and amusingly, a lot of the good stuff on that is already in LEGO Rock Band anyway.

Taylor Swift? Maroon 5? Hillary Duff? Duffy? The motherfucking SPICE GIRLS? What the hell Activision? They're picking songs that don't even sense for a band setting.

Oh right, Activision.

I wasn't being sarcastic.

Also, Band Hero gets "Mr Roboto"

THATS NOT FAIR.

I heard that Freddy Mercury didn't actually die of AIDS. He was just trying to recreate Bowie's eye injury. The moustache AND funky eyes were simply too much for his body to handle. His immune system broke down under the sheer awesomeness.
